Recently I have shared this blog with some mommies of Multi-Cystic Kidney babies. My hope is that I can shed a little light on what we have gone through and to give these mommies of bit of hope. Kaylee is an example how well a baby can be two years post removal. I know that we are so blessed with Kaylee as we very easily could have had another result. While trying to help these other mommies, an interesting thing happened. I read the blog. Reading it brought back so many wonderful and also some difficult memories. I realize what a great journal this has become for our family.
If you found this blog looking for information on MCDK, I am by no means an expert, but I will give you all of the information I have learned from our experience. Please feel free to ask anything.
I have also become aware of just how much my children are growing up. Because of this, I will try to avoid sharing anything too personal about them as they may resent this as they get older. I can see the tween years just around the corner and it terrifies me!! So for now, just the fun stuff! :)
There you have it, a nice quick update to let you know I am back and hopefully tomorrow I can fill in the gaps on what we have been up to. Riveting.. I know! :)
