Kaylee's character is really starting to emerge.
When Kaylee laughs, her entire face lights up, then she immediately furrows her brow as if to question any lookers, "Hey what are you laughing at."
Prior to her surgery she was very uncomfortable laying down, so I held her most of the day and night. Now that she is no longer in pain, I'm finding it quite difficult to convince her that me carrying her for the next 18 years is probably not going to happen. I'm slowing transitioning her into her crib. Slowly!! Right now we're only getting about 10 minutes of sleep in it. Of course that could probably be due to Little Indiana Jonah trying to rescue the Fair Princess Abby from whatever crazy scenario they've managed to come up with. But, for now, I don't mind holding her and snuggling her as much as I can. Next week, Jonah is starting 1st grade and Abby is off to pre-school, so I know all to well that this time with her is precious and temporary. I'm going to treasure the cuddley moments I have as much as possible. 3 am feedings and all!!
