Potpourri

Jonah's cat scan went really well. They said it was actually a vein and not a cyst. Good to know! He has a heart murmur so we went to the cardiologist yesterday. He's going to do an ECHO next week, but the Dr says he thinks its, "the good kind of murmur." So hopefully that will go fine as well.

He finally lost his first tooth!! I went to get a picture of the cute little missing piece in his mouth, only to discover two adult teeth had already grown in behind them! He was due for a dentist appointment anyway so we got them checked. He said they should move up, but he'll most likely need braces. We'll start saving now.
Since I didn't have a picture of his tooth, I added a cute one of him trying to pull out the Sword in the Stone at Disneyland. He REALLY wanted to be king!

Abby is enjoying dance so much! It is so weird to see her come out of her shell during the class!! She can also spell Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious (sp?) I would ask her how to spell it, but she's busy reading GO DOG GO. We took her out of preschool because it was just too much for us to get her across town and back in time to get Jonah, it was a stressful time for all of us. She is doing much better at home now and even plans her own lessons.
Today's was:

Color a page of a coloring book
work on cracking her dinosaur egg
study her letters
read a book
and count to 100

I think she'll do fine come Kindergarten

Miss Kaylee having a hard time deciding if she wants to walk first or crawl. She knows how to get from one spot to another, but always wants to be standing up. Her little hips sway like a banana tree when she tries to stand, but she's determined to do it. Dragging herself on the floor gets her there fast, but she wants to see the world from a foot or two higher. I keep telling her that if she only focuses on one thing at a time, she'll be able to master it. But, you know kids... they know it all don't they?

Kaylee loves attention and loves evenmore when she does something that causes that attention!

Just enjoying this time of milestones and firsts... hope it doesn't go too fast. And, I could do without hearing the word 'cyst' for awhile...I think we've had enough of those!
