ok .. quick update for ya! For awhile Jonah has been complaining of being tired or that his legs hurt. He has also always had a problem with sugar. If he eats too much, he throws up. Yup, pretty much every Christmas, Halloween, Birthday parties, Gingerbread house making adventures, poor kid loses his lunch. My thinking was that maybe he's having a problem processing sugar or maybe an allergy or something. This has been going on for awhile, so I don't think it's anything major, but my mommy sensor kept saying to get him checked out. We saw a "stand-in " Dr. since the pediatrician was out. He thought Jonah was fine but wanted to run some tests just incase. He asked if there was any family history of anything. Hmmmm!!! Ah, ok I guess he doesn't know the family very well! ! Due to the history of Multi Cystic kidney (hello Kaylee) and heart problems (hello me) the Dr wanted to do a chest x-ray and an ultrasound. We did them on Friday and then yesterday I get a call from the Dr. She says , "He has a cyst in his right lung and we need to do a cat scan. But I don't think this is why he's tired. Ok, good bye" Thank you Miss Bedside Manner. I happened to be at Kaylee's Dr. when I got the call and mentioned it to her. She' s been with Kaylee from the beginning and was very reassuring. She explained that the if the cyst needed to be removed, it was a very simple procedure. We like her! :)
So, basically we're waiting on blood test and a cat scan. He's acting just fine so we're not worried much. He told me he wasn't tired anymore, but we've also been really watching the sugar. Hopefully that's it. We'll keep you posted.
