Back in the Saddle Again...

I have this nasty habit of writing new posts only to never actually publish them. I just noticed I have a few "in reserve" that I need to get up here! One major one was the dedication of Kaylee Ann.

On Sat Feb 6, 2010 we dedicated our sweet little Kaylee at church. It’s hard to believe she’s already seven months (Ok, she's nine months old today.. I told you it was left around awhile!) and ready to take on the world!! Jonah and Abby asked us what dedication meant and told them it was a ‘promise.’ We as a family are making a promise to God and to Kaylee to raise her the best way we know how, with all his examples and truths laid out for us. When Jonah was a baby, I had a verse that I thought summed up how he should be raised. Micah 4:6 says“act justly, love mercy, walk humbly with your God” This has become our family verse/motto if you will. I believe it encompasses so much. I feel that if Kenny and I can teach our children those principles, they will end up just fine!
